Cortimax 6mg Tablet is used to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy in adults and children above 2 years of age. It contains Deflazacort, which inhibits the production of chemicals called cytokines responsible for inflammation. Some people may experience side effects such as nausea, chest pain, vomiting, drowsiness, headache, dizziness, skin rash, tremors, nervousness, diarrhea and fast heartbeats. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
