DECOLIC AMPULE 2ML is used to treat functional bowel or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It contains Dicyclomine, also known as Dicycloverine. Dicyclomine belongs to the class of ‘anticholinergic/anti-muscarinic agents’ with antispasmodic activity. It blocks the activity of acetylcholine (acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that sends signals to nerve cells) by binding to muscarinic receptors on smooth muscle.
