It is also used in the treatment of amenorrhea (the unusual cessation of menstrual periods) and abnormal uterine bleeding, and the prevention of endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of the uterine or womb lining) in women who take conjugated estrogen.

Drugs used for fits (phenytoin, carbamazepine)
• Potential effect: May reduce the effectiveness of Dimple Contraceptive Injection.
Antidiabetic drugs (metformin, glimepiride)
• Potential effect: May cause elevated levels of glucose in the blood.
Anticoagulants (warfarin)
• Potential effect: May cause altered anticoagulant effect, leading to the risk of blood clots or bleeding problems.
Antiviral drugs (amprenavir, boceprevir )
• Potential effect: May reduce the effectiveness of Dimple Contraceptive Injection.

Drug-Food Interactions: Dimple Contraceptive Injection may interact with grapefruit. Hence, avoid grapefruit while on treatment with Dimple Contraceptive Injection.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have any of the following conditions.

Abnormal genital bleeding,
Low levels of bone minerals
Breast cancer
Liver disease
Thromboembolism (blood clot problem)
