Depogen 150mg Injection is used as a long-acting contraceptive. It is also used in the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding and the prevention of endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of the uterine or womb lining) in women who take conjugated estrogen.

Depogen 150mg Injection contains medroxyprogesterone acetate, which prevents an egg from fully maturing and being discharged from the ovaries. If an egg is not released, it cannot be fertilised by sperm and result in pregnancy.

• Treat abnormal uterine bleeding: Depogen 150mg Injection stabilises the endometrial lining and regulates menstrual cycles, making it effective in controlling heavy or irregular bleeding.
• Address amenorrhea (absence of menstruation): Depogen 150mg Injection is used to induce menstrual periods in individuals experiencing secondary amenorrhea due to hormonal imbalance.
