Doxyla B6 Forte Tablet is used to treat nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It contains Doxylamine and Pyridoxine (vitamin B6), which prevents the feeling of nausea and sickness in pregnant women. Besides this, it also provides nutrition to the body. It works by blocking the natural chemical (histamine) in the body, thereby preventing nausea and vomiting. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as dizziness, stomach pain, constipation, and dry mouth. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Doxyla B6 Forte Tablet interacts with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) (selegiline, isocarboxazid, phenelzine, tranylcypromine), anti-anxiety medications (alprazolam, diazepam, chlordiazepoxide), sedative-hypnotics (lorazepam), and other antihistamine drugs (diphenhydramine, chlorpheniramine, loratadine).

Drug-Food Interaction: You are recommended to avoid alcohol consumption while taking Doxyla B6 Forte Tablet . It could lead to increased dizziness and drowsiness.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Doxyla B6 Forte Tablet may cause interactions with disease conditions such as depression, asthma/COPD, heart problem, severe liver or kidney disease, glaucoma (damaged eye nerve), and malabsorption.
