Ebast Syrup is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria (red, raised, itchy bumps with unknown cause) in children. It is used to relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny, itchy, blocked-up nose and watery and red eyes. It contains Ebastine, which blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical messenger naturally involved in allergic reactions. It may cause common side effects such as headache, drowsiness, and dry mouth.
