Enuff Capsule is used to treat symptoms of acute (short-term) diarrhoea in adults and infants greater than 3 months of age. It can be administered as a complementary treatment when acute diarrhoea cannot be treated casually. It contains Racecadotril, which helps in decreasing the intestinal hypersecretion (losing) of electrolytes and water induced by the cholera toxin or inflammation. Thus, it exerts rapid antidiarrheal action, without changing the duration of intestinal transit (bowel transit time or time of food travel in the digestive tract). In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as headache, rash and skin redness. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
I am experiencing vomiting, diarrhoea, and excessive gas in the stomach. What should I do?

Vomiting, diarrhoea, and excessive gas are most often due to a stomach infection or food-related irritation, and the main focus is to prevent dehydration. Start taking oral rehydration solution (ORS) in small, frequent sips, drink plenty of fluids like water or coconut water, and eat light foods such as rice, curd, and bananas while avoiding oily, spicy, and outside food; rest well and avoid self-starting antibiotics, though a doctor may suggest medicines to control vomiting or probiotics if needed. Most cases improve within 1-2 days, but you should seek medical care if symptoms are severe, persist beyond 2 days, or if you notice warning signs like high fever, blood in stool, inability to keep fluids down, or reduced urination.
