Lanoxin Tablet is used to treat irregular heartbeats and manage the symptoms of heart failure. It contains Digoxin, which works on the heart muscle directly and increases the force with which the heart muscle contracts with each heartbeat. Thereby, it makes the heart efficient in pumping blood around the body and slows down the rate at which the heart beats. Some people may experience common side effects like diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, abnormal heartbeat or skin rash. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
