Lomofen LB Tablet is used to treat acute diarrhoea. It contains Lactic acid bacillus and Loperamide, which help restore the balance of good bacteria in the gut and slow down intestinal movement to allow more time for your body to absorb water and salts, making stools less watery. It may cause common side effects, such as stomach pain, nausea, constipation, headache, and bloating. Before taking Lomofen LB Tablet , inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any other medications, or have any pre-existing medical conditions.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Lomofen LB Tablet may interact with certain medications used to treat abnormal heart rhythms (quinidine), HIV (ritonavir), excessive urination (desmopressin), fungal infections (itraconazole, ketoconazole), and high cholesterol (gemfibrozil).

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Lomofen LB Tablet , as it may cause increased dizziness and drowsiness.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Avoid taking Lomofen LB Tablet if you have medical conditions such as ulcerative colitis, acute dysentery, diarrhoea with a high fever, or severe diarrhoea after taking antibiotics.
