Melgain contains Decapeptide, which helps restore pigment. If it is too expensive, you can ask your dermatologist about more affordable brands containing the same active ingredient, such as Melbild solution. Alternatively, topical calcineurin inhibitors like Tacrolimus ointment (0.1 percent) or targeted topical corticosteroids are highly effective for white patches on the lips (lip vitiligo) and are often much more budget-friendly. Since the lip area is highly sensitive, please consult your treating dermatologist before switching medicines so they can safely prescribe the best, most cost-effective alternative for your specific case.
