Natclovir 250 Capsule is an antiviral drug used to treat viral infections. It plays a vital role in treating Cytomegalovirus infection in immunosuppressed people (having HIV/AIDS) or those who have undergone bone marrow or organ transplantation. It contains Ganciclovir, which prevents the multiplication of the virus in human cells, decreases viral overload and stops the production of new viruses. In some cases, you may experience nausea, headache, dizziness, fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, increased liver enzymes, and stomach pain. Most of these side effects of Natclovir 250 Capsule are temporary, do not require medical attention, and gradually subside over time. However, if the side effects persist, contact your doctor immediately.

  • Inform your doctor about your low platelet count and medication usage. They will assess the situation and guide the best course of action.
  • Your doctor may recommend adjusting or stopping the medication that is causing a low platelet count. This could involve switching to alternative medication or reducing the dosage.

  • If an underlying condition, such as infection or inflammation, contributes to the low platelet count, your doctor will treat it.
  • In some cases, alternative treatments like platelet transfusions or medications that stimulate platelet production may be necessary.
  • Avoid risky activities and certain medications; eat a balanced diet with plenty of water to reduce bleeding risk and boost overall health.
