NATCOCIL CT TABLET is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It contains Cilnidipine and Chlorthalidone, which widens the blood vessels and lowers the blood pressure. It decreases the workload on the heart. It also reduces the risk of heart attack or stroke. Additionally, it acts by getting rid of excess water and salts in the body by increasing urination, thereby reducing blood pressure. It helps to reduce oedema (fluid buildup) and swelling associated with hypertension. It may cause common side effects such as low blood pressure (feeling light-headed), dizziness, headache, palpitations (racing or pounding heart), increased frequency of urination, lethargy (lack of energy), flushing (skin reddening), rash, impotence (erectile dysfunction), and gingival hyperplasia (gum overgrowth). Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
