नुवाप्टा-15 टैबलेट से रक्त शर्करा का स्तर बढ़ सकता है। यदि आप डायबिटिक हैं तो डॉक्टर से सलाह लें।
नुवाप्टा-15 टैबलेट न लें यदि आपको इसके किसी भी घटक से एलर्जी है, यदि आपके रक्त में लिवर एंजाइम बढ़े हुए हैं, रक्त की मात्रा बहुत कम है, यदि मूत्र उत्पादन नहीं हो रहा है, या यदि आप यह नहीं बता सकते कि आपको प्यास लगी है।

निर्धारित खुराक से ज़्यादा न लें, क्योंकि इससे ओवरडोज़ हो सकता है। नुवाप्टा-15 टैबलेट की ज़्यादा खुराक लेने से बहुत ज़्यादा प्यास लगना, चक्कर आना, बहुत ज़्यादा पेशाब आना या बेहोशी हो सकती है। अगर आपको ये लक्षण महसूस हों, तो डॉक्टर से सलाह लें।
नुवाप्टा-15 टैबलेट गंभीर किडनी रोग वाले मरीज़ों के लिए अनुशंसित नहीं है। हल्के से मध्यम किडनी की समस्याओं वाले मरीज़ों में इसका उपयोग सावधानी के साथ किया जाना चाहिए।
यदि आप नुवाप्टा-15 टैबलेट की कोई खुराक लेना भूल गए हैं, तो याद आते ही इसे ले लें। हालाँकि, यदि आपकी अगली खुराक का लगभग समय हो गया है, तो छूटी हुई खुराक को छोड़ दें और निर्धारित समय पर अगली खुराक लें।
नुवाप्टा-15 टैबलेट का उपयोग गर्भावस्था और स्तनपान के दौरान करने की सलाह नहीं दी जाती है।

आपके रक्त में सोडियम के स्तर की बारीकी से निगरानी करने के लिए नुवाप्टा-15 टैबलेट से उपचार अस्पताल में या किसी स्वास्थ्य सेवा पेशेवर की उपस्थिति में शुरू और फिर से शुरू किया जाना चाहिए। हाइपोनेट्रेमिया (सोडियम का निम्न स्तर) का बहुत तेज़ी से सुधार ऑस्मोटिक डीमाइलिनेशन सिंड्रोम (गंभीर तंत्रिका क्षति) का कारण बन सकता है। यदि आपको ऑस्मोटिक डीमाइलिनेशन सिंड्रोम के लक्षण जैसे बोलने में कठिनाई, ऐसा महसूस होना कि भोजन या पेय आपके गले में अटक रहे हैं, निगलने में कठिनाई, मूड में बदलाव, उनींदापन, भ्रम, शरीर की गतिविधियों को नियंत्रित करने में कठिनाई, बाहों या पैरों में कमज़ोरी, या दौरे पड़ना दिखाई दें तो डॉक्टर से सलाह लें।
