Pilorute-EP Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of piles (haemorrhoids). This medicine helps strengthen the walls of tiny blood vessels and prevent leakage and fragility, enhances blood flow by decreasing blood viscosity/thickness, reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) and promotes better healing. It is also used to treat chronic venous insufficiency of lower limbs. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, and indigestion.
I am having piles with pain, swelling, and bleeding, and I want quick relief from these symptoms. Which medicine or treatment may help reduce pain and bleeding more quickly?

Haemorrhoids (piles) can cause pain, swelling, itching, burning, bleeding during stool passage, and discomfort while sitting because the veins around the anal area become enlarged and inflamed. Bleeding and swelling often worsen with constipation, hard stool, straining, prolonged sitting, spicy food intake, or irregular bowel habits. Faster symptom relief may be improved with stool-softening medicines, fibre supplements, anti-inflammatory creams, local anaesthetic ointments, sitz baths, and pain-relieving medicines, depending on symptom severity. Warm water sitz baths for 10 to 15 minutes several times daily may help reduce swelling, irritation, and pain more quickly. Drinking plenty of water, eating fibre-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, oats, and whole grains, and avoiding straining during bowel movements may help reduce bleeding and prevent worsening. Cold compresses, proper anal hygiene, and avoiding long sitting periods may also improve comfort. Some people with severe bleeding, large, swollen piles, prolapse, or persistent pain may require procedures such as rubber band ligation, laser treatment, or surgery for better long-term relief. Urgent evaluation may be needed if bleeding becomes heavy, severe swelling occurs, dizziness appears, or stool becomes black.
