Pilorute-EP Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of piles (haemorrhoids). This medicine helps strengthen the walls of tiny blood vessels and prevent leakage and fragility, enhances blood flow by decreasing blood viscosity/thickness, reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) and promotes better healing. It is also used to treat chronic venous insufficiency of lower limbs. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, and indigestion.
I am having piles with pain, swelling, and bleeding, and I want quick relief from these symptoms. Which medicine or treatment may help reduce pain and bleeding more quickly?

Piles can cause pain, swelling, itching, burning, and bleeding during stool passage, especially when constipation or straining increases pressure on the swollen veins around the anus. Sitting for long periods, hard stool, low-fibre diet, obesity, and poor hydration can make the symptoms more painful and frequent. Pain-relieving creams, anti-haemorrhoid ointments, warm sitz baths, stool softeners, and fibre supplements may help reduce pain, swelling, and irritation more comfortably. Drinking enough water and eating fruits, vegetables, and fibre-rich foods may help soften stool and reduce bleeding caused by straining. Avoiding spicy food, prolonged sitting on the toilet, and excessive pushing during bowel movement may also improve recovery. Bleeding that happens repeatedly, large swollen piles, severe pain while sitting, or piles coming outside after stool passage may sometimes need procedures such as banding, laser treatment, or surgery for better long-term relief.
