Poly-C Eye Ointment 5 gm is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. It contains Polymyxin B and Chloramphenicol, which work by killing the bacteria and preventing the spread of eye infections caused by a wide range of gram-negative bacteria. In some cases, you may experience side effects such as redness, itching, irritation, burning/stinging sensations in the eyes, blurred vision, sensitivity to light, eyelid swelling, itching, or crusting. Before using this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
