Pregafon Tablet 10's is used in treating Neuropathy, pain in fibromyalgia (musculoskeletal pain), and nerve pain in post-herpetic neuralgia (damage to the nerve fibres during shingles infection). It contains Methylcobalamin, Pregabalin, Alpha lipoic acid, and Pyridoxine. Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Pregabalin works by binding to the specific site on voltage-gated calcium channels, thus helping to relieve nerve pain. Alpha-lipoic acid decreases pain and numbness in Neuropathy. It helps lower blood sugar levels and protects the nerves from damage in diabetic Neuropathy. Pyridoxine is involved in the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It also relieves nerve pain and corrects the nerve impulse transmission process.
