Ranolaz OD Tablet is used alone or with other medicines to treat angina pectoris. It helps prevent any further attack of angina by making the heart work more efficiently, and it is used as an add-on to existing treatment in patients whose disease is not adequately controlled by other medicines for angina pectoris, such as beta-blockers or calcium antagonists, or in patients who cannot take these medicines. In some cases, it may cause side effects such as constipation, dizziness, headache, or feeling sick. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
