Combining atorvastatin with Renerve Plus Injection 2 ml may raise the risk of rhabdomyolysis, (an uncommon illness that leads to the destruction of skeletal muscle tissue). If you are elderly or have preexisting kidney disease, you may be at higher risk. This interaction is only relevant if you are taking large doses of Renerve Plus Injection 2 ml to treat high cholesterol. It does not apply if you are taking Renerve Plus Injection 2 ml in nutritional supplement amounts.
How to manage the interaction:
Taking atorvastatin and Renerve Plus Injection 2 ml together can possibly result in an interaction, it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. However, if you happen to experience, unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, weakness, fever, dark coloured urine, light coloured stools, you are advised to seek immediate medical attention. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting a doctor.
