Prescription Medicine

Vetory MX Tablet is used for pain relief and muscle relaxation. It works by blocking the effect of a natural chemical messenger called cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical (prostaglandins) and work on the central nervous system (CNS) to relax muscles, relieving pain and stiffness caused by muscle strains and sprains. It may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhoea, and loss of appetite. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Vetory MX Tablet interacts with sleeping pills (alprazolam, escitalopram, zolpidem), pain killers (tramadol, oxycodone, hydrocodone), antiepileptics or medicines for fits (gabapentin, topiramate, pregabalin), diuretics or water pills (fluoxetine), an antidepressant (duloxetine), antiallergic (diphenhydramine, cetirizine), muscle relaxant and antispasmodic (baclofen).

Drug-Food Interactions: St. John's wort (a herbal supplement) used as an antidepressant can interact with Vetory MX Tablet and cause dizziness, so its usage should be avoided with Vetory MX Tablet .

Drug-Disease Interactions: People with alcoholism, liver disease, kidney disease, stomach ulcer/bleeding, and intestinal ulcer/bleeding should avoid using Vetory MX Tablet .
