Loose motions continuing for a week, even after using Flora 33 Sachet, may mean the problem is not only due to a temporary stomach imbalance. Stomach infection, contaminated food or water, food intolerance, IBS, intestinal irritation, or ongoing inflammation can sometimes cause motions after almost every meal or fluid intake. When diarrhoea continues for many days, dehydration and weakness can also slowly develop. Drinking ORS, coconut water, and enough plain fluids is very important to prevent dehydration. Try eating light foods such as rice, banana, curd, toast, khichdi, applesauce, or soup, and avoid oily, spicy, heavy, or outside food for a few days. Tea, coffee, alcohol, and milk products may worsen symptoms in some people. Medicines for diarrhoea or antibiotics should not be started repeatedly without proper medical advice because the treatment depends on the actual cause. Please consult a doctor soon if you develop fever, blood in stool, severe stomach pain, vomiting, dizziness, reduced urine, or increasing weakness, as stool tests or further evaluation may be needed.
