Drug-Drug Interaction: Meaxon Plus Tablet may interact with fits medicines (fosphenytoin, phenytoin, phenobarbital), cancer-treating drugs (altretamine), antiparasitics (pyrimethamine), and drugs used to treat tumours (fluorouracil).

Drug-Food Interaction: Please avoid alcohol while using Meaxon Plus Tablet to ensure maximum absorption of nutrients.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Use Meaxon Plus Tablet with medical advice if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food), liver, kidney or heart diseases, and allergic reactions to medicines.

How does the drug interact with Meaxon Plus Tablet:
Co-administration of Benfotiamine and Folic acid and Mecobalamin and Pyridoxine (vit b6) with Capecitabine may increase the risk of serious side effects such as bleeding problems, anemia, infections, and nerve damage.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is a possible interaction between Benfotiamine and Folic acid and Mecobalamin and Pyridoxine (vit b6) with Capecitabine, you can use these medicines together if prescribed by the doctor. However, if you experience paleness of skin, diarrhea, severe nausea and vomiting, over-tiredness, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, burning or tingling sensation in the hands and feet, contact a doctor. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.
