I am experiencing severe body itching and have already tried Megaheal and Permite creams. What medicine or ointment should I use for relief?

Since you have used Permite (permethrin for scabies), your severe itching could be 'post-scabietic itch,' which can normally persist for 2 to 4 weeks even after successful treatment. However, if the itching is worsening, it could indicate treatment failure or a different skin condition altogether. For temporary relief, you can apply a soothing calamine lotion and take an over-the-counter oral antihistamine like Cetirizine (10 mg) once daily at night. Please avoid scratching to prevent skin infections. I highly recommend consulting a dermatologist to evaluate your skin and prescribe targeted treatments, such as a mild topical steroid, if necessary.
