I have a tight foreskin that does not pull back easily. Which cream or treatment may help loosen it safely without surgery?

A tight foreskin can occur when the skin opening is narrow or less flexible, making it difficult to retract comfortably. Some people notice pain, tightness during erection, difficulty cleaning, or small skin cracks because of friction and repeated stretching. Mild dryness or irritation may also increase the tight feeling over time. Gentle daily stretching along with medicated creams is commonly used to help loosen the skin gradually without surgery. Steroid-based creams are sometimes applied for a few weeks to improve skin flexibility and make the foreskin move more easily. Proper hygiene, lubrication during intercourse or masturbation, and avoiding forceful pulling may also help reduce irritation and small tears. Improvement usually takes time and regular care rather than very fast results. Repeated infections, swelling, difficulty passing urine, severe pain, or the foreskin getting stuck behind the penis head may need further treatment and, in some cases, surgical correction if conservative treatment does not help enough.
