Medicinal Benefits:
Bistas Tablet is used to treat peptic ulcers and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. It is also indicated for treating inflammatory conditions, such as gastritis, ulcers of the stomach and duodenum, functional non-ulcerous dyspepsia (indigestion with abdominal discomfort), and erosive duodenitis (inflammation in the lining of the duodenum). It contains Tripotassium dicitrato bismuthate. It acts as an ulcer protectant and heals ulcers. It also has a little acid-neutralizing effect and acts as a diffusion barrier to the acid present in the stomach. Bistas Tablet is also bactericidal against Helicobacter pylori infections (that causes gastritis and peptic ulcers). It also increases mucosal secretion of prostaglandins, the chemicals which inhibit acid secretion in the stomach. Thus, Bistas Tablet relieves ulcers, GERD, and other gastrointestinal problems.
Bistas Tablet contains Tripotassium dicitrato bismuthate that works by forming a protective coating against ulcer formation. It also has a bactericidal action against Helicobacter pylori that causes gastritis and peptic ulcers. Thus, Bistas Tablet relieves stomach ulcers, heartburn, GERD, and other gastrointestinal discomforts.
