Foxin Eye Drop is used in the treatment of bacterial eye infections. The detailed uses of Foxin Eye Drop are as follows:<br/> • Bacterial eye infections: Foxin Eye Drop is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye such as conjunctivitis caused by bacteria.<br/>• Corneal Ulcers: Foxin Eye Drop is also used to treat corneal ulcers, especially those caused by bacterial infections.<br/>• Post-Surgical Infection Prevention: Foxin Eye Drop may be used to prevent infection after certain eye surgeries like cataract surgery by controlling harmful bacteria in the eye.<br/>
Medicinal Benefits:
Foxin Eye Drop contains Ofloxacin, which is used to treat bacterial eye infections. Foxin Eye Drop inhibits DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme), which is involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thus, it kills bacteria and treats the infection.
Foxin Eye Drop treats bacterial eye infections, including conjunctivitis and cornea ulcers. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid.
Foxin Eye Drop works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears the infection.
You are not recommended to wear contact lenses while using Foxin Eye Drop as it contains benzalkonium chloride, a preservative that changes the colour of contact lens as it may be absorbed by soft contact lens. Benzalkonium chloride also causes irritation in the eye especially if you have disorders of cornea (transparent layer at the front of eye) or dry eyes. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before using Foxin Eye Drop and reinsert them after 15 minutes after using Foxin Eye Drop. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensation in the eye after using Foxin Eye Drop.
Foxin Eye Drop may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using. Therefore, you are recommended to wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.
Foxin Eye Drop is not used to treat fungal infection in the eye. Foxin Eye Drop is only used to treat bacterial eye infections.
You are not recommended to stop using Foxin Eye Drop without consulting your doctor as it may worsen the infection. Therefore, use Foxin Eye Drop for as long as your doctor has prescribed it and if you experience any difficulty while using Foxin Eye Drop, please consult your doctor.
