ZO DROPS 5ML belongs to the class of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial eye infections including conjunctivitis and ulcers of the cornea. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid.
ZO DROPS 5ML contains Ofloxacin which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears infection.
Use ZO DROPS 5ML as prescribed by your doctor. ZO DROPS 5ML is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use ZO DROPS 5ML for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry eyes, blurred vision, eye discomfort, eye redness, mild itching, or irritation in the eye. Most of these side effects of ZO DROPS 5ML do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to ZO DROPS 5ML or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. ZO DROPS 5ML should be used for children only in doses as advised by the doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using ZO DROPS 5ML. Drive only if your vision is clear as ZO DROPS 5ML may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using. You are advised to remove soft contact lenses before using ZO DROPS 5ML.
Bacterial eye infections
