Hypertension/high blood pressure could be a side-effect of Tofaq 5 Tablet 1. Consult your doctor before taking Tofaq 5 Tablet 1 if you have high blood pressure or if you are taking anti-hypertensive medicines.

Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Tofaq 5 Tablet 1. Eat non-spicy meals and drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools (tarry stools) or if you experience severe diarrhoea, consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.

Tofaq 5 Tablet 1 should not be taken along with tocilizumab as it might increase the risk of infections. Before starting Tofaq 5 Tablet 1, inform the doctor if you are taking tocilizumab.

Prior to starting Tofaq 5 Tablet 1, active or latent tuberculosis test, CBC (complete blood count), LFT (liver function test), and lipid profile tests should be done.
