Your doctor may prescribe Acigen Gel to help manage the following conditions:

• Heartburn: Acigen Gel neutralises excess stomach acid, providing rapid relief from the burning sensation in the chest or throat.
• Acid Indigestion: It helps soothe stomach discomfort, sour stomach, and indigestion by balancing the acid levels in your stomach.
• Flatulence (Gas): This medicine breaks down gas bubbles in the gut, making it easier to pass gas and reducing bloating, pressure, and discomfort.
• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) Symptoms: It temporarily relieves the painful symptoms of acid reflux, protecting the oesophagus from irritating acid.

Acigen Gel is used to relieve symptoms caused by excess stomach acid and trapped gas. It helps provide quick relief from heartburn, acid indigestion, and bloating while protecting the stomach from acid-related irritation.

• Relieves Heartburn and Acid Indigestion: Neutralises excess stomach acid to provide rapid relief from heartburn, sour stomach, and acid-related discomfort.
• Reduces Gas and Bloating: SIMETHICONE helps break up gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines, relieving bloating, fullness, and abdominal discomfort.
• Soothes Stomach Irritation: Helps protect and soothe the lining of the stomach and oesophagus irritated by excess stomach acid.
• Balanced Antacid Action: The combination of aluminium and magnesium hydroxide provides effective acid neutralisation while helping minimise constipation or diarrhoea associated with single-agent antacids.
• Improves Digestive Comfort: By relieving acid-related symptoms and trapped gas, it helps improve overall comfort during and after meals.

• Acigen Gel should be taken after a meal.
• It is usually taken 1-2 times daily as needed, preferably between meals and at bedtime, or as advised by your doctor.
• Check the label for directions before using Acigen Gel .
• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Take the suggested dose by mouth using the measuring cup provided with the pack.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

• Eat Smaller, Frequent Meals: Have smaller meals throughout the day instead of large meals to reduce stomach pressure and acid reflux.
• Avoid Trigger Foods: Limit spicy foods, citrus fruits, tomatoes, chocolate, caffeinated beverages, carbonated drinks, and other foods that worsen heartburn.
• Avoid Lying Down After Meals: Wait at least 2–3 hours after eating before lying down or going to bed to reduce acid reflux.
• Elevate Your Head While Sleeping: Raise the head of your bed by 15–20 cm if you experience frequent night-time heartburn.
• Wear Loose-Fitting Clothing: Avoid tight clothing around the waist, as it can increase pressure on the stomach and worsen acid reflux.

• Shake the Suspension Well: If using the liquid formulation, shake the bottle thoroughly before each dose to ensure the medicine is evenly mixed.
• Separate from Other Medicines: Take this medicine at least 2 hours before or after other oral medicines, as it may reduce their absorption.
