Actidom 5 mg Paediatric Suspension 30 ml is an antiemetic medicine. It is used to treat vomiting (being sick) in infants and children. Besides this, it also helps treat indigestion. In children, vomiting is a symptom of milk intolerance or food allergy.

Actidom 5 mg Paediatric Suspension 30 ml contains domperidone, which is a dopamine antagonist. It works by blocking receptors for dopamine and serotonin, which stimulate the vomiting centre (chemoreceptor trigger zone – CTZ) in the brain. It increases the motility of the upper gastrointestinal tract and helps decrease gastric emptying time.

Actidom 5 mg Paediatric Suspension 30 ml causes dry mouth as a side effect in your child. If this side effect worsens, please consult your paediatrician.
