Allercet-DC New Tablet 10's contains Ebastine (antihistamine) and Phenylephrine (decongestant). Ebastine belongs to the class of antihistamines (anti-allergic drugs) that work by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. If you have high blood pressure, heart problems, diabetes, prostate gland problems (especially in men), glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye), overactive thyroid gland, are taking Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (used for depression), or hypokalaemia, please do not take Allercet-DC New Tablet 10's as it is known to interact. Also, inform your doctor about all other medications you have taken before starting Allercet-DC New Tablet 10's. Do not stop taking Allercet-DC New Tablet 10's even if you feel better without asking your doctor, as your symptoms may come back and even worsen your condition. Allercet-DC New Tablet 10's may cause drowsiness and sleepiness, so it is advised not to drive a car or operate machinery. Consumption of alcohol should be avoided as it may lead to excessive drowsiness and sleepiness. Do not take Allercet-DC New Tablet 10's if you have taken any MAO inhibitor (anti-depressant medication) in the past 14 days. Do not smoke, as it might worsen your symptoms, so avoid tobacco intake.
