Aloatm 2% Topical Solution 60 ml is a combination of three drugs: Azelaic acid, Minoxidil (vasodilator), and Tretinoin (a form of vitamin A). Azelaic acid is a naturally occurring acid that works by blocking a 5-alpha-reductase enzyme in the body that converts testosterone (male hormone) into dihydrotestosterone which causes hair loss. Thus, it prevents hair loss and stimulates hair growth. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A that promotes hair follicle growth on the scalp.
