Ambro S 60Ml Syp is a cough syrup. It is used to treat cough associated with mucus and chest congestion caused by the common cold and flu in children. It contains Ambroxol and Terbutaline. Ambroxol works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose, whereas terbutaline relaxes muscles and widens the airways. This medicine may sometimes cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhoea, tremors, and stomach upset.

What if I have taken an overdose of Ambro S 60Ml Syp

Do not take more than prescribed dose. Symptoms of an overdose include extensions of the common undesirable effects (e.g., diarrhea, dyspepsia, pyrosis, nausea, vomiting, and skin rashes. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience these or think you have taken too much.

Diet & Lifestyle Advise

Try to give food containing green leafy vegetables.
Make your child drink plenty of fluids to avoid a dry throat. It also helps loosen mucus.
Avoid giving citrus fruits like oranges to your child as they may worsen the cough.
Give your child fruits rich in water content, such as pears, watermelon, peaches and pineapples.
