Anomex Suppositories is used to relieve pain, inflammation, and irritation affecting the anal and rectal area. It may be prescribed for the following conditions:

• Haemorrhoids (piles): Anomex Suppositories helps ease the intense swelling, itching, and throbbing pain associated with both internal and external haemorrhoids.
• Anal fissures: It helps soothe the sharp pain and promotes the healing of small, painful tears in the lining of the lower passage.
• Proctitis: It helps reduce localized redness, swelling, and irritation in the lining of the rectum.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication, to ensure safety.
• Lie down on your left side and raise your right knee to the chest. Remove the wrapper and insert the pointed end of the suppository into the rectum.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after use.

• Increase your dietary fibre: Eat more whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and beans to soften your stools, making them easier to pass without straining.
• Stay well-hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to prevent constipation and reduce friction during bowel movements.
• Avoid straining: Do not force or strain during bowel movements, and try not to sit on the toilet for prolonged periods.
• Take sitz baths: Soak your pelvic area in warm water for 15 to 20 minutes two to three times a day to soothe irritation and improve local blood flow.
• Wear loose clothing: Opt for loose-fitting cotton underwear to prevent sweat build-up and reduce friction on the sensitive skin.

• Use only as directed: Apply this medicine only to the rectal area. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, or other mucous membranes.
• Check the product before use: Do not use the cream if the tube seal is broken or if you notice any change in its colour, texture, or smell.
• Clean the applicator after each use: Wash the applicator tip thoroughly with warm water and mild soap after every application, then replace the protective cap.
• Limit the duration of treatment: Do not use this medicine for more than 7 consecutive days unless your doctor specifically advises otherwise, as prolonged use may cause skin thinning.
• Avoid airtight coverings: Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings or plastic coverings unless instructed by your doctor, as this may increase medicine absorption and the risk of side effects.
