About Aplotel-AM Tablet
Aplotel-AM Tablet belongs to the class of anti-hypertensive drugs, primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Hypertension is a medical condition in which blood pressure is elevated persistently in the blood vessels.
Aplotel-AM Tablet contains Telmisartan and Amlodipine, which work by preventing the tightening of blood vessels. This helps relax the blood vessels and improves blood flow. Thereby, Aplotel-AM Tablet helps treat high blood pressure.
In some cases, Aplotel-AM Tablet may cause side effects such as peripheral oedema (swelling in legs and arms), diarrhoea, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting.
