Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has instructed. Follow these step-by-step guidelines:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the bottle.
2. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.
3. Tilt your head back, look upward, and gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
4. Hold the dropper bottle directly over your eye without letting the tip touch your eye, eyelashes, or fingers to prevent contamination.
5. Gently squeeze the bottle to release one drop into the pocket of your lower eyelid.
6. Close your eye gently and press your finger against the inner corner of your eye (near the nose) for about 1 to 2 minutes to stop the liquid from draining away.
7. If you are using other eye drops, wait at least 5 to 10 minutes before applying them.
