Avinorm 250 mg Capsule 10's may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a serious intestinal disease in premature infants).
 
Avinorm 250 mg Capsule 10's contains ‘Saccharomyces boulardii’, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, Avinorm 250 mg Capsule 10's helps in treating diarrhoea. Avinorm 250 mg Capsule 10's helps restore the balance of intestinal bacterial flora and strengthens immunity and overall gut health.
 
You are advised to take Avinorm 250 mg Capsule 10's for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. Avinorm 250 mg Capsule 10's is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. Sometimes, it may cause gas, bloating, and constipation. • Avoid eating foods such as milk, dairy products, spicy foods, processed foods, pork, veal, sardines, raw vegetables, rhubarb, onions, corn, citrus fruits, alcohol, pineapples, cherries, seeded berries, grapes, caffeinated and carbonated drinks. 

• Eat fibre-rich food such as whole grains, lentils, beans, broccoli, and peas.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before eating while preparing or serving food.

Diarrhoea: Diarrhoea is the condition in which there is a frequent need to empty the bowels. It is characterised by loose and watery stools. Diarrhoea could be acute or chronic. Acute diarrhoea generally lasts for a few days. It could occur due to bacterial infection or food poisoning. Chronic diarrhoea lasts for at least four weeks. It could occur due to intestinal disease/disorder such as Crohn’s disease or celiac disease. The causes of diarrhoea include food intolerance, food allergy, adverse reaction to any medicine, viral infection, bacterial infection, intestinal disease, parasitic infection, and stomach or gallbladder surgery.
