Azifast Gel 20 gm belongs to a group of medicines known as macrolide antibiotics used to treat acne vulgaris. Acne vulgaris is a common skin condition that affects almost everyone at some point in their lives. Acne occurs when the hair follicles are blocked with dead skin cells and oil.
Azifast Gel 20 gm contains azithromycin, which prevents the synthesis of essential nutrients necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby killing the acne-causing bacteria.
