B-Hold Tablet is primarily used to treat the common cold and allergy symptoms like sneezing, watery eyes, or an itchy/watery nose and throat. The common cold is a respiratory illness affecting the nose and throat, mostly caused by rhinovirus. The virus spreads quickly through droplets in the air when a sick person sneezes, coughs, or talks.

B-Hold Tablet contains Paracetamol, Phenylephrine hydrochloride, Chlorpheniramine maleate, and Caffeine. Paracetamol inhibits the production of certain chemical messengers in the brain known as prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine hydrochloride helps shrink the blood vessels in the nasal passage, thereby reducing the stuffy nose. Chlorpheniramine maleate blocks the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Caffeine acts as a stimulant and increases alertness.

B-Hold Tablet can be taken with or without food or as directed by the physician. Your doctor will recommend how often you need to take B-Hold Tablet based on your medical condition. In some cases, B-Hold Tablet may cause common side effects such as drowsiness, sleepiness, nausea, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, and headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Do not consume B-Hold Tablet if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have hypertension (high blood pressure), liver or kidney disease, or coronary artery disease (heart disease). B-Hold Tablet may cause sleepiness, so do not drive or operate heavy machinery unless you are alert. Consumption of alcohol should be avoided as it may lead to excessive sleepiness.

B-Hold Tablet is used to treat common cold and allergies. The detailed uses of B-Hold Tablet are as follows:

• Treatment of Common Cold: It helps relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and watery eyes.
• Treatment of Allergies: It alleviates allergic symptoms like itching, sneezing, nasal congestion, and skin rashes by blocking the effects of histamine.

• B-Hold Tablet can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may help reduce the chance of stomach upset.
• Take it at the same time each day, as directed by your doctor, to maintain consistent levels in the body.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet; doing so may affect the medication's release and effectiveness.

B-Hold Tablet is composed of four medicines, namely: Paracetamol (mild analgesic and antipyretic), Phenylephrine hydrochloride (decongestant), Chlorpheniramine maleate (antihistamine), and Caffeine (a stimulant). Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to B-Hold Tablet or any other medicines. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using B-Hold Tablet . If you have high blood pressure, diabetes, hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), stomach ulcer, enlarged prostate gland,  kidney, liver, heart, or urinary problems, inform your doctor before taking B-Hold Tablet . Do not take B-Hold Tablet if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (antidepressant medication) in the past 14 days.
