Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nosebleeds, changes in vision, chest pain, weakness, and dyspnea (shortness of breath).

Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet is a combination of Telmisartan and Metoprolol. This medicine relaxes the blood vessels and lowers the blood pressure.

Not everyone who takes Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet will experience these side effects. In some cases, you may experience common side effects, including headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, stomach pain, and a slow heart rate. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time.

You can take Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet with or without food. It should be swallowed as a whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, bite, crush, or break it. Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure). The detailed use of Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet is as follows:

• Treatment of Hypertension: Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing heart rate, thereby lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications.

• Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication. Try to take it at the same time each day to help maintain steady levels of this medication in your blood.
• Swallow Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

• Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet is a combination of two blood pressure-lowering medicines: telmisartan and metoprolol.
• Telmisartan works by blocking the angiotensin II receptor, thereby relaxing the blood vessels and lowering the blood pressure.
• Metoprolol helps to reduce blood pressure by allowing the blood to flow more smoothly.

• Do not take Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet if you are allergic to telmisartan or metoprolol.
• Inform your doctor if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors, aliskiren, quinidine, disopyramide, or other medications that lower blood pressure.
• Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver diseases, biliary obstruction, heart problems, low blood pressure, diabetes, elevated potassium levels, blood circulation problems, asthma, COPD, metabolic acidosis, pheochromocytoma, slow heart rate, psoriasis, myasthenia gravis, or Prinzmetal angina.
• Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet .
• Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet is not recommended for children below 18 years of age.
• Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet may cause dizziness and tiredness, so drive or operate heavy machinery only if you are alert. 
• Prolonged intake of Betasave Plus XL 25 mg/40 mg Tablet can cause an altered potassium level. So, regular monitoring of potassium is advised.
