Bulldose TZ Suspension

Bulldose TZ Suspension is a combination of medicines called 'antibiotics' primarily used to treat various infections caused by bacteria & protozoans. Bulldose TZ Suspension is used to treat a wide variety of infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive organisms, Gram-negative organisms, anaerobes, and protozoa. Examples of infection caused by protozoa include dysentery (inflammation of the colon) and malaria. 

Bulldose TZ Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Tinidazole. Ofloxacin helps treat and prevent a wide range of bacterial infections. It is bactericidal in nature, which means it works by killing bacteria that cause infections. It inhibits the processes of bacterial cells, ultimately destroying the bacteria and thereby preventing the further spread of the infection. Bulldose TZ Suspension is a broad-spectrum antibiotic against most Gram-negative bacteria, many Gram-positive bacteria, and some anaerobic bacteria (that live without oxygen). On the other hand, Tinidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria responsible for causing infections. It works by damaging their genetic material, called DNA. 

Bulldose TZ Suspension should be taken in the dose and duration your doctor advises. It is recommended to take it with food and at a fixed time to achieve maximum effect. You may experience nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, headache, and other symptoms. Most of these side effects of Bulldose TZ Suspension do not require medical attention and typically resolve on their own over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor. Please consult your doctor immediately if you experience any allergic reaction symptoms such as rashes, itching, swelling, or shortness of breath.

Inform your doctor if you have any lung disease, muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis), a sleeping disorder or difficulty sleeping (sleep apnoea), severe liver disease, or a problem with alcohol or other prescription or recreational drugs. Inform your doctor if you plan to get pregnant, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Use of Bulldose TZ Suspension is associated with an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon (tough tissue that connects muscle to bone) rupture in all ages. People taking Bulldose TZ Suspension who are over 60 years are at high risk, especially those taking anti-allergic medicines like corticosteroid drugs. Bulldose TZ Suspension is contraindicated in people with kidney/heart diseases and those who have had lung transplants; its use is not recommended.

Bulldose TZ Suspension is used in the treatment of bacterial and protozoal infections. The detailed uses of Bulldose TZ Suspension are as follows:

• Treatment of Bacterial Infections: Bulldose TZ Suspension is an antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections, including respiratory, urinary tract, sexually transmitted infections, and skin infections.
• Management of Gastrointestinal Infections: Bulldose TZ Suspension helps to treat gastrointestinal infections caused by bacteria, relieving symptoms and promoting recovery.
• Urinary tract Infections (UTIs): Bulldose TZ Suspension can be used to treat urinary tract infections (UTIs) caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Preventing Infection: Bulldose TZ Suspension can be prescribed to prevent infections in patients undergoing surgery or those with weakened immune systems.

• Bulldose TZ Suspension can be taken with or without food (excluding dairy products).
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow Bulldose TZ Suspension as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

Bulldose TZ Suspension contains the antibiotics Ofloxacin and Tinidazole, which help treat and prevent a wide range of bacterial infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria, and some anaerobic bacteria (that live without oxygen). It is bactericidal and works by killing bacteria that cause infections by preventing the formation of their cell walls, which are required for living. It also inhibits the repair of bacterial cells. Altogether, it kills the bacteria. Bulldose TZ Suspension has the advantage of good penetration in most deep tissues and body fluids. Hence, it is also suitable for treating deep tissue and bone bacterial infections. 

Do not take Bulldose TZ Suspension if you are allergic or have had a severe reaction to Ofloxacin or other quinolone or fluoroquinolone antibiotics such as Delafloxacin, Gemifloxacin, Levofloxacin, Moxifloxacin, and Ciprofloxacin. Taking Bulldose TZ Suspension may increase the chances of developing tendinitis (swelling of a fibrous tissue that connects a bone to a muscle) or having a tendon rupture (tearing of a fibrous tissue that connects a bone to a muscle). Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had a kidney, heart, or lung transplant, kidney disease, a joint or tendon disorder such as rheumatoid arthritis (an autoimmune condition of joints causing pain, swelling, and loss of function), seizures (fits), epilepsy or if you participate in regular physical activity. Taking Bulldose TZ Suspension may worsen muscle weakness in people with myasthenia gravis (a nervous system disorder that causes muscle weakness) and cause severe difficulty breathing or death. Dairy products should be avoided along with Bulldose TZ Suspension. Additionally, exposure to sunlight should be avoided while taking Bulldose TZ Suspension, as it may increase phototoxicity or photosensitivity. Patients with epilepsy and irregular heartbeat (QT prolongation) should tell their doctor before taking Bulldose TZ Suspension.
