About Candesar 8mg Tablet

Candesar 8mg Tablet belongs to a class of drugs known as angiotensin II receptor blockers used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and lower the risk of stroke in certain people with heart disease. Hypertension is a medical condition in which blood pressure is elevated persistently (<140/90) in the arteries. Heart failure is a condition in which the heart is unable to pump blood as effectively as it should.

Candesar 8mg Tablet contains Candesartan which works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II thereby preventing blood vessels from narrowing, in turn lowering the blood pressure and improving the overall blood flow.

Take Candesar 8mg Tablet with or without food daily at the same time and swallow whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it. Take this medicine in the dose and for the duration prescribed by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience side effects like feeling dizzy or faint or having a spinning sensation (vertigo) and headaches. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to any medicines or food products, inform your doctor. It is advised to complete a full course of medication and not stop taking Candesar 8mg Tablet suddenly, as it may cause recurring symptoms or worsen the condition. Candesar 8mg Tablet is not recommended for pregnant, breastfeeding women and children below six years of age. Do not consume alcohol with Candesar 8mg Tablet as it may increase the risk of low blood pressure. Avoid potassium supplements with Candesar 8mg Tablet as they may lead to high potassium levels in the blood.

Managing back pain as a side effect of medication requires a combination of self-care techniques, lifestyle modifications, and medical interventions. Here are the steps:
  • Talk to your doctor about your back pain and potential medication substitutes or dose changes.
  • Try yoga or Pilates and other mild stretching exercises to increase flexibility and strengthen your back muscles.
  • To lessen the tension on your back, sit and stand upright and maintain proper posture.
  • To alleviate discomfort and minimize inflammation, apply heat or cold packs to the afflicted area.
  • Under your doctor's supervision, think about taking over-the-counter painkillers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
  • Make ergonomic adjustments to your workspace and daily activities to reduce strain on your back.
  • To handle tension that could make back pain worse, try stress-reduction methods like deep breathing or meditation.
  • Use pillows and a supportive mattress to keep your spine in the right posture as you sleep.
  • Back discomfort can worsen by bending, twisting, and heavy lifting.
  • Speak with a physical therapist to create a customized training regimen to increase back strength and flexibility.
Here are the 7 steps to manage Dizziness caused by medication:
  • Inform your doctor about dizziness symptoms. They may adjust your medication regimen or prescribe additional medications to manage symptoms.
  • Follow your doctor's instructions for taking medication, and take it at the same time every day to minimize dizziness.
  • When standing up, do so slowly and carefully to avoid sudden dizziness.
  • Avoid making sudden movements, such as turning or bending quickly, which can exacerbate dizziness.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated and help alleviate dizziness symptoms.
  • If you're feeling dizzy, sit or lie down and rest until the dizziness passes.
  • Track when dizziness occurs and any factors that may trigger it, and share this information with your doctor to help manage symptoms.
  • Drink plenty of fluids, like juice, water, and warm soups.
  • Get more sleep to help your body fight infection.
  • Take pain relievers like paracetamol or ibuprofen to get relief from fever, muscle pains and headache.
  • Use a humidifier to help ease congestion and coughs.

Managing Medication-Triggered Rhinitis (Stuffy Nose): A Step-by-Step Guide
  • Consult your doctor if you experience nasal congestion, runny nose, or sinus pressure after taking medication.
  • Your doctor may adjust your treatment plan by changing your medication, adding new medications, or providing guidance on managing your rhinitis symptoms.

  • Practice good hygiene, including frequent handwashing, avoiding close contact with others, and avoiding sharing utensils or personal items.
  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and other fluids to help thin out mucus and soothe your nasal passages.
  • The first step usually involves taking the right medications, but you should consult your doctor first. High blood pressure medications, such as ACE inhibitors or ARBs (which protect the kidneys), can help reduce the amount of albumin in your urine.
  • Talk to your dietitian or doctor to determine your specific nutritional needs.
  • Quit smoking and using tobacco.
  • Lose weight through a balanced diet and regular exercise.
  • Also, limit alcohol consumption.

  • Applying heat or cold packs to the affected joint can help reduce pain and inflammation.
