CEPROLEN EYE/EAR DROPS 5ML is used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye and ear. The detailed uses of CEPROLEN EYE/EAR DROPS 5ML are as follows:

• Treatment of eye infections: CEPROLEN EYE/EAR DROPS 5ML is effective in treating bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye) and corneal ulcers (eye ulcers) caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Treatment of ear infections: CEPROLEN EYE/EAR DROPS 5ML is also used to treat external otitis (infection of the outer ear canal), malignant otitis externa (a severe external ear infection), and chronic otitis media (a long-lasting middle ear infection), and to prevent bacterial infections associated with ear surgery.

• CEPROLEN EYE/EAR DROPS 5ML helps treat eye infections, such as conjunctivitis and eye ulcers, caused by susceptible bacteria
• It is effective for treating severe bacterial infections of the outer and middle ear, including chronic otitis media and otitis externa.
• It also helps prevent infections and promotes healing after eye or ear procedures.
• It inhibits bacterial growth and helps clear infections in the eyes and ears.
• It helps reduce symptoms such as pain, itching, redness, swelling, and discharge.

• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and timing of CEPROLEN EYE/EAR DROPS 5ML.
• For eye use: Tilt your head back and gently pull your lower eyelid downwards and outwards to form a pouch. Instil the prescribed number of drops into the pouch and close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
• For ear use: Tilt your head to the side and gently instil the advised number of drops into the ear. Keep your head tilted for a minute to allow the drops to soak in.
• Do not touch the dropper with your bare hands to prevent contamination.

For eye infections:

• To naturally renew your eyes, get at least six to eight hours of sleep each night.
• Wash your eyes with clean water at least twice or thrice every day. If you have had eye surgery, wait at least two weeks before washing your eyes.

• Before using CEPROLEN EYE/EAR DROPS 5ML, inform your doctor if you have vision problems, severe eye pain, glaucoma (increased eye pressure), eye damage, hearing problems (cytotoxicity), a perforated eardrum, or if you are undergoing eye surgery.
• Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
• CEPROLEN EYE/EAR DROPS 5ML should be used in children only if prescribed by a doctor.
• Talk to your doctor if infection symptoms persist or worsen after two weeks of treatment.
