Clarian Gel belongs to a group of medicines known as macrolide antibiotics, used to treat acne vulgaris. Acne vulgaris is a common skin condition which develops when hair follicles become clogged with dead skin cells and oil.
Clarian Gel contains Clarithromycin, which inhibits the synthesis of essential nutrients required for bacterial survival. As a result, Clarian Gel kills the acne-causing bacteria.
