Clonix-B Lotion is used to treat fungal infections. It contains Clotrimazole and Beclometasone, which stop the growth of fungi and also block the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy. It may cause common side effects such as itching, dryness, redness, and a burning sensation at the application site. About Clonix-B Lotion

Clonix-B Lotion is used to treat fungal infections, such as ringworm of the foot (tinea pedis or athlete's foot), ringworm of the groin (tinea cruris or jock itch), and ringworm of the body (tinea corporis).

Clonix-B Lotion contains Clotrimazole and Beclometasone. Clotrimazole stops the growth of fungi by damaging the fungal cell membrane. Beclometasone blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy.

Clonix-B Lotion may cause common side effects like itching, dryness, redness, and a burning sensation at the application site. These side effects do not need medical attention and resolve over time. However, consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

How Clonix-B Lotion Works

Beclometasone blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy. Together, Clonix-B Lotion helps treat fungal skin infections.

Storage

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight. • Keep out of sight and reach of children. • Non cold chain - To be stored in cool places at 10ºC to 25ºC or below 30ºC.

What if I have taken an overdose of Clonix-B Lotion

Do not apply Clonix-B Lotion in large amounts or use it for a long time than recommended, as it does not give quick or better results but increases the risk of side effects.

Drug Warnings

Do not use Clonix-B Lotion if you are allergic to any of its components.
Before using Clonix-B Lotion, let your doctor know if you have a history of liver diseases, adrenal gland problems, cataracts, glaucoma, or diabetes.
Let your doctor know if you plan to become pregnant or are already pregnant or a lactating mother.
If you apply Clonix-B Lotion to breasts or nipples for treatment, wash it off while nursing your baby.
Clonix-B Lotion is for external use only, so avoid contact with the eyes, the mouth, or intravaginally.
Notify the doctor if there is no improvement after one week of treatment for tinea cruris or tinea corporis or after two weeks for tinea pedis.
When using Clonix-B Lotion in the groin area, patients should use the medication for two weeks only.
Prolonged use of Clonix-B Lotion may cause hormonal suppression, Cushing's syndrome, hyperglycemia (increased blood sugar level), and glucosuria (high sugar in urine) in some patients. Hence, use only as advised by your doctor.

Do not walk barefoot at places like gym showers to prevent fungal infections.
Do not scratch the affected area of skin as it can spread the infection to other body parts.
Avoid sharing towels, combs, bedsheets, shoes or socks with others.
Wash your bed sheets and towels regularly.
Follow a candida diet if you suffer from vaginal yeast infection. Candida diet excludes high sugary foods, some dairy products and foods with artificial preservatives.
Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol and caffeine.
