About Cloyap-CS Lotion
Cloyap-CS Lotion is used to treat psoriasis. Additionally, Cloyap-CS Lotion may also be used to treat seborrheic dermatitis. Psoriasis is a skin condition in which skin cells multiply up to 10 times faster than usual, leading to skin building up into bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales.
Cloyap-CS Lotion is a combination of clobetasol, coal tar, and salicylic acid. Clobetasol works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Coal tar and salicylic acid help break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells, and soften the skin.
In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as a burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention. However, talk to your doctor if these side effects persist.
Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion if you have a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Consult your doctor before using Cloyap-CS Lotion if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
