About Coldpar Tablet
Coldpar Tablet is primarily used to treat common cold symptoms and allergies like sneezing, runny/stuffy nose, fever, headache, body pains, congestion, or watery eyes. The common cold is a respiratory illness affecting the nose and throat. It is mostly caused by viruses known as rhinovirus.
Coldpar Tablet is a combination of Paracetamol, Phenylephrine and Chlorpheniramine. Paracetamol works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine works by shrinking the blood vessels in the nasal passage. Chlorpheniramine blocks the action of histamine, which is responsible for causing allergic reactions.
Some people may experience drowsiness, nervousness, headache, dizziness, insomnia (difficulty falling or staying asleep), blurred vision, constipation, and dry mouth. Most of these side effects of Coldpar Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Take Coldpar Tablet as prescribed. Your doctor will recommend how often you must take Coldpar Tablet based on your medical condition. Swallow the medicine as the whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, break or crush the medicine.
