Colihenz P 400 Tablet 15's is used to treat acute stroke. A stroke is a serious, life-threatening medical condition that happens when the blood supply to part of the brain is cut off. Like all organs, the brain needs the oxygen and nutrients provided by blood to function properly. If the supply of blood is restricted or stopped, brain cells begin to die, leading to a stroke.

Colihenz P 400 Tablet 15's is a combination of two medicines: Citicoline and Piracetam. Citicoline repairs the neuronal membrane and cholinergic neurons by increasing phosphatidylcholine synthesis and potentiating the production of acetylcholine, respectively. It reduces the build-up of free fatty acids at the site of stroke-induced nerve damage. Piracetam protects the brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen. It also improves the activity of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine, which helps in communication between brain cells.

You are advised to take Colihenz P 400 Tablet 15's as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. Hallucination is a medical condition in which the person may feel, hear or believe things that are not true, see things that are not there, feel unusually suspicious or confused. Colihenz P 400 Tablet 15's contains piracetam, which may cause hallucinations in some cases. So, if you experience hallucinations while taking Colihenz P 400 Tablet 15's, please talk to your doctor immediately.

Please consult your doctor before taking Colihenz P 400 Tablet 15's if you have hypertension (high blood pressure), as Colihenz P 400 Tablet 15's contains citicoline, which might cause low blood pressure. Intake of Colihenz P 400 Tablet 15's, along with anti-hypertensive medications, may decrease blood pressure to lower than normal levels. Regular monitoring of blood pressure levels is advised to avoid unpleasant events.

Maintain a proper weight by eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. Avoid deep-fried food, fast food, processed food and sugary foods/drinks.
