Coned-M Cream 20 gm is a dermatological combination medication used to reduce swelling, itching, and redness caused due to certain fungal skin infections. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the skin tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).

Coned-M Cream 20 gm contains Clobetasol (corticosteroid) and Miconazole (antifungal). Clobetasol belongs to the class of corticosteroids that work by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such chemicals are released normally. The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents. On the other hand, Miconazole belongs to the class of antifungals that works by causing holes in the fungal cell membranes and killing fungi.

Coned-M Cream 20 gm is only for external use. Use Coned-M Cream 20 gm as advised by the doctor. Avoid contact of Coned-M Cream 20 gm with nose, ears, mouth, or eyes. In case Coned-M Cream 20 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience dry skin, itching, irritation, redness, or burning sensation at the site of application. Most of these side effects of Coned-M Cream 20 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Coned-M Cream 20 gm or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Coned-M Cream 20 gm. Do not use Coned-M Cream 20 gm in more than prescribed doses, or for a prolonged time as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with bandages unless advised by your doctor.  Avoid using Coned-M Cream 20 gm for more than 5 days in children and on the face. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as Coned-M Cream 20 gm catches fire and burns easily. If you have glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, psoriasis, adrenal gland, or liver problems, inform your doctor before taking Coned-M Cream 20 gm.

• Treatment of Fungal Infections: Coned-M Cream 20 gm effectively treats fungal skin infections, such as ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch.
• Antifungal Action: Coned-M Cream 20 gm inhibits the growth of fungi, providing relief from fungal skin infections.
• Anti-Inflammatory Action: Coned-M Cream 20 gm reduces inflammation, itching, redness, and swelling associated with fungal infections.

• Apply Coned-M Cream 20 gm twice daily; however, follow your doctor’s advice regarding the dosage and duration.
• Take a small amount of the medicine and gently apply it as a thin layer on the affected area of the skin as prescribed by your doctor.
• Avoid contact of Coned-M Cream 20 gm with nose, mouth or eyes. In case Coned-M Cream 20 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.
• Wash your hands before and after using Coned-M Cream 20 gm if your hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.
