GERD occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the food pipe (oesophagus), leading to acidity and abdominal pain. Stomach ulcers occur when stomach acid damages the protective lining of the digestive tract, resulting in abdominal pain. IBS affects the large intestine, causing changes in bowel movements and abdominal pain.

Cool Zone-Spas Tablet is a combination medicine that contains two active ingredients: Omeprazole (a proton pump inhibitor) and Dicyclomine (an anticholinergic/antispasmodic agent). Omeprazole helps reduce stomach acid by blocking the actions of the enzyme system (H+/K+ ATPase or gastric proton pump) in the stomach wall cells. Cool Zone-Spas Tablet is not recommended during breastfeeding, as it can pass into breast milk. Your doctor may suggest you discontinue breastfeeding while taking this medication.
